“Noticing | Sparks Lake” was started as a plein air painting over the summer. I bit off a little more than I could chew with the size of this one, and was not able to finish it while I was at the lake (you’d think I’d have learned by now!). It was finished in the weeks following at my home studio.
This painting is about being noticing your senses and being present in the moment. The creation of this piece was featured in the film “En Plein Air” directed by Christina Rosetti, and show at the Bend Film Festival.
