The Commission Journey

1) The Logistics

The process begins with completing a commission inquiry form to map out size, subject, etc. I use reference photos for all of my pieces; uploading yours and sharing what pieces of mine have stood out for you in the past will become a trailhead for creating your commission. If needed, we will schedule a time to meet to discuss any details as necessary.

2) The Trailhead

Once everything has been agreed upon in a simple commission agreement (including deposit amount, payment plan, and target completion date), the first invoice of a non-refundable deposit (pre-arranged in our initial discussion) is submitted and I can begin bringing your painting to life!

3) The Journey

Throughout the creative process, I won’t leave you in the dark! A couple emails are usually enough to update you on the progress and open the conversation for feedback or any adjustments you’d like to see made. Once the painting is complete, I’ll send you a final photograph to make sure we’re both in love with it.

4) The Summit

Upon final approval of your completed commission you’ll recieve the last payment request. While payment plans are available, delivery or shipping of your final artwork to its final destination occurs after final payment has been received.
