February 2022!

Happy 2/22/22!

I can’t believe it’s already the end of February, let alone 2022 at all. These last few years have flown by and yet also somehow felt like a decade long. What a whirlwind! Here’s some of what’s been going on in my creative world the last few months:

Showcase at Insomnia Coffee, Cannon Beach

In early January I drove from Bend over to the coast with a car full of art to set up at Insomnia Coffee. I have worked with Insomnia a few times in the past, displaying art at their locations in Hillsboro, but this is my first time having original pieces at the coast! It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do, and I’m excited to have finally checked it off my list.

My art will be on display through the end of March, so be sure to make a trip out one of these weekends!

Newest Originals

Going into 2022 I made some goals for myself with how many paintings I create. While painting is something that varies, and can’t be completely streamlined by timelines, giving myself some goals to use as guidance and motivators to keep painting has been a game changer so far! Here are my most recent pieces from February. From left to right: Smith Rock (5x7 acrylic on canvas panel), Salt Creek Falls (22x24 acrylic on canvas), and Alabama Hills (22x24 acrylic on canvas).

Last (but certainly not least), Meet Koda!

Koda is the newest addition in my life. She’s a rescue who was brought to Bend from a reservation in Idaho, where she had lived as a stray. This girl is loving her new life as a central Oregon desert gal, and has adjusted well to her new gig as a model!
